Courses In Charge

Physics III (Thermodynamics)
From energy and evironmetal problems, the improvement of energy conversion efficency is necessary, that is fully depends on thermodynamics. In this lecture, I explain basic laws and some applications of thermodynamics.
Fundamentals of Ecological Engineering
Curretly, it is increasingly important to use energy resources effectively and to reduce emission to the environment. In this lecture, I introduce ecological and economical production methods from technological and legal view points.

Main Research

High-perfomance materials for secondary batteries
Secodary batteries are extensively used for portable equipment such as cellular phones and notebook computers. Moreover, the application of the secondary batteries is extended to large capacity such as electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle. I research on electrode and electrolyte materials for the secondary batteries from the aspect of the solid state chemistry.
