■September 4, 2021: Nakake-Cho(In front of Pachinko Salon)
On a Saturday under the state of emergency, there were many people, but less
than usual Saturday before the covid-19 issues, on the street around the
Pachinko Salons at Nakake Cho Street. On this day, the usual recording point
was used by a travel agency to sell the antigen test kits, so this soundscape
was recorded in front of another Pachinko salon located next to the usual
Pachinko salon. The doors of the Pachinko salon opened maybe as a countermeasure
against the infection of the covid-19, and therefore, the loud noises from
the salon was heard all the time. A national chain Izakaya bar near the
recording point broadcasted the
invitaion of drinking during lunch time. Around the recording point,
the sellers of the antigen test kits, and a staff of Tako-Yaki (octopus
dumpling) was touting.
