■August 27, 2021: Nakake-Cho(In front of Pachinko Salon)
On the day when the state of emergency was declared, less people than
just one week ago (when
stronger measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus started in
Sendai), almost as same as
one day before the day when the stronger measures started, passed
through the Nakake-Cho street. On this day, all the doors of two pachinko
salons around the recording point opened and closed automatically, so
the loud noises from those salons were heard when people went in and out
the salons. The number of people went in and out the salon seemed about
as same as just one week ago.
Three staffs of Izakaya bars which ignored the requests for shortened hours
of operation hold up respective bars' signboards, but they did not tout with
loud voices, like one week ago.
While I prepared the recording one group of people, and while I recorded the
soundscape two groups of people who found the signboards went in the bars.

was about as same as just one

restaurant that offered take-out service rather frequently. On this day,
a pachinko salon in opposition to the recording point broadcasted loud music
with speakers installed in front of the salon. The volume of broadcast of a
