At the Shinobu-Sanzan Akatsuki Mairi Festival (Visiting Shinto shrine at
Mt. Shinobu, at dawn), the big sandal dedicated to Haguro Shinto shrine
(located at the top of Mt. Shinobu) is paraded around the city. The big
sandal came to the Fukushima station square.

|
At the square, Kagura (music and dance for Shinto Gods) was performed:
Tengu (a long-nosed goblin) was dancing with the music.

|
When Kagura was performed, an attendant of Shinto priest threw mandarin
oranges to the spectators. (right photo)

|
About 60 or 70 spectators were there. Compared to
the festival in 2012, which is
the first festival after the quake, the numbers of the spectators were
so few.
