On a weekday night during the Golden Week holidays, the main concourse of Sendai Station was so crowded. Maybe because the holiday restart the next day, children's voices could be heard even in the night.

Many people passed through the East and West Freepass. Tourists carrying
their wheeled carry-ons frequently passed through, and the sounds of
carry-ons could be heard ceaselessly. Outside the freepass, a street musician
was singing.
