This soundscape was recorded on the Saturday during the Golden Week holidays
with stronger measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, when a
relatively big earthquake hit one hour before recording. In this situation,
there were so many people around the main concourse of Sendai Station:
some people were waiting for resuming of JR line, some were just waiting
their friends, and some enjoyed shopping.
Comparing a day during the
Golden Week holidays last , so many people were there.
Sellers of a bottle shop in the Tohoku product fair made sales calls.
