Don-do Yaki festival was held at Gokoku Shrine as usual. Don-do Yaki festival
is a new year event that new year's ornaments and old talismans are burned.
♦
Don-do Yaki festival was held from 1 to 6 January and from 12 to 15 January,
this year.
♦
While I was at the shrine, the flow of worshippers did not inturrupt. Also,
there were some worshippers around the fire all of the time.
♦
According to the firekeeper, many of the worshippers are elder people, and
therefore, more worshippers are here in the morning than afternoon.
♦
When I recorded this sound, many people lined up in front of the stall of
O-ban-yaki buns. According to the firekeeper, the stall is the most popular
stall among the stalls in the shrine all the time, but small children
seemed to like the stall of banana with chocolate.

♦
Recorded Kagura music was played through PA Speakers, similar to usual year.
♦
I wish you a happy new year.
