| ♦ | I was at the Station Square at 14:46, just after the 8 years from the quake. |
| ♦ | The preparations for the night event called "candle night" was progressing. A Public Address System was already installed. |
| ♦ | More than 50 people were gathering at the square to join the silent prayer. |
| ♦ | About 5 minutes before 14:46, the live broadcasting of the National memorial ceremony were broadcasted by the PA system. When the broadcast started, staff stopped their work one after the other, to pray silently. |
| ♦ | Almost all people at their pray silently following the cue from the PA system. |
| ♦ | Even during the silent pray, a huge display installed at the wall of Nakago Department Store was broadcasting the commercial short videos. |
